With their new product Pullex 2in1 Top-Color, Austria's leading manufacturer of paints, varnishes and wood preservers is expanding its tried-and-tested Pullex range with an attractive offering for both professionals and ambitious DIY enthusiasts. The innovative coating system from the ADLER laboratory combines the functions of primer and topcoat: users only have to reach for one can of paint to make a garden shed shine in Swedish red, a fence in sky blue or a half-timbered house in an elegant grey! Pullex 2in1 Top-Color is therefore particularly efficient: the painter or DIY enthusiast saves time and money – and can still enjoy perfect, long-lasting results. The coating performs well, with a high degree of colour stability and very good UV and weather protection.
Slowed down
And yet the coating is particularly easy to apply: Pullex 2in1 Top-Color is incredibly easy to use thanks to a low degree of drag during brush application. "The paint has a much lower tendency to 'slow you down', it flows really well, making painting particularly pleasant," emphasises Rainer Troppmair, Head of Building Coatings Development at ADLER. This makes the opaque wood glaze ideal for coating larger surfaces – for first-time coating and especially for renovation projects. Even on slightly weathered surfaces, the wood paint achieves an even, silky matt look – in any desired colour, because Pullex 2in1 Top-Color can be tinted via the ADLER Color4You system. It also performs well in terms of good workability, even at higher temperatures, and is quick drying, virtually overnight: after twelve hours, the brush can get to work again. This solvent-based product, equipped with film protection, is nevertheless environmentally friendly thanks to its higher solids content, and is also low odour due to the use of aromatic-free white spirit – much to the delight of the user. We would like to bet that painters and DIY enthusiasts will soon realise: this wood paint is simply top!
